Therefore, the director may be compelled to face the president intent on changing the unhealthy recruitment process. This practice inhibits diversity of the organization as it concentrates on two types of employees who have the same orientation, thus hindering creativity and innovation in the organization (Shaheen, 2010). Creativity and innovation in an organization boosts the competitiveness of an organization. Consequently, absence of such aspects in the organization may hinder the organization from reaching its potential. The second issue facing this company relates to the way employees get rewarded. Managers determine the compensation of some employees, without considering their education, experience, as well as geographic region. This results in imbalances in the reward system, which may hinder the morale of the workers when they compare their salaries with that of their peers (ââ¬Å"Vanderbilt Universityâ⬠, 2014).
